we're stopping in a tudor manon b&b in the village where we're getting married. I 'm having to stay there the night before as well as i'm being turfed out of my own home. It's more expensive than i wanted but there's isn't much choice out in the sticks and i didn't want to drive past home to get to a hotel in the big town nearby.

We are undecided, seeing as the reception will be held pretty close to our home, but I think it would be nice to stay in a luxury room then go stright to the honeymoon!
We have just under 14 months till the wedding so plenty of time to decide!
  • We were goign to stay at the hotel in a suite but I was completely put off when we went away the other weekend and a couple had got married there the previous day, when they came down to breakfast the guests cheered! Now my guests wouldnt do it i hope but it just completely put me off, plus we want to be alone!

So were goign 20 mins up the coast to a tiny B&B that only has one suite and overlooks the sea. Were making the most of it and staying for 2 nights
  • We're staying at home, the reception venue is only 2 minutes walk from ours so we'll troll along home drunk in the early hours in our full regalia lol, and then off on honeymoon the following evening :)
