Response re: my Full & Final Settlement offer

Hi All
This morning i received a letter from the DCA regarding my full and final settlement offer.
The debt stands at £683.45 and I offered £204.90. They have rejected it (I wasnt expecting them to accept!) and said they can go down to £512.59.
Should i send back another letter saying that I really can only afford £204.90m, or should i try and meet them 1/2 way?
Advice would be great.
Thanks

I would send another letter saying you can only afford the 204.90. The 512.59 offer is a settlement of around 75% which is a decent offer but you offered 30%.
You don't want to jump in and offer more at the moment incase they then take that as a sign that you have alot more than you are letting on. Just reiterate in your letter that you have a fixed amount availible to you from a 3rd party for F&F settlements only and you must be fair to all your creditors and the amount you have previously offered is their pro rata share of that amount.
Make sure to continue with any agreed payments meantime.MF aim 10th December 2020 :j:eek:MFW 2012 no86 OP 0/2000
