Rechargable Batteries Lidl

Just walking out of the checkout this morning at Blackwater and overheard "I'm surprised they are still stocking these" These are AA and AAA size about £2 per 4 pack. 2500 mAh

I went back and got three packs!

I had one of the assistants at Blackwater searching through that whole basket for some D size for me. They had all the normal sizes, just took a bit of finding!

We must live nearby - I live 5 mins from the Blackwater store!

Incidentally, they were in this week's leaflet.

They are not "still stocking these" exactly, they are a special re-introduced on Thursday 12 June 2008 and only available whilst stocks last ;)

please keep an eye on these.

2 batteries out of the pack i bought overheat as so as they go in the charger. even once they're out of the charger they seem to get hotter for a while, and then cool down.

saying that, the 4 my oh uses are absolutely fine. guess i got a couple of bad ones.

    but please be careful x

I agree. And they're much better than the ones I bought from Jessops.

I got a 4-pack a while back (greyish exterior), and they are a little wider than normal and they also don't hold their charge nearly as well as a smaller 1800mAh one I have. I thought these would last longer due to the rating, but they don't.

They are just as good, if not better than many of the branded ones, I have used them for ages, no problem.
