Good afternoon all!
Bought a lettuce yesterday, marked as 'seasonal lettuce' for 68p...checked my receipt and found I'd been credited 10 clubcard points at the bottom for buying it! Wanted to pass it on for all those hot-weather lettuce eaters out there!!!!0 -
Hi, is there a list of all the holiday companies which accept the tokens anywhere once they have been exchanged into deal vouchers.
I know Virgin and Cosmos do it, just wondering if there are others out there as we are looking to book a holiday to the Maldives in Feb and was hoping to use our £264 tesco vouchers towards this holiday, which once multiplied by 4 will work out as £1056 towards it!
Thanks all....
Can anyone help me on this?0 -

Just be careful using deals for some holidays, you may find that the price quoted for deals is much higher than if you went direct. Worth getting a quote both ways and weigh up whether you can use the deals elsewhere for better "value". This doesn't apply to all holiday firms offering to take Clubcard Deals so it's not a hard and fast rule - UK Boat Hire gave me full value all bar a £50 early booking discount.
Thanks for the heads up.
I have heard that you have to pay brochure prices when booking with Cosmos and Virgin, has anyone paid the full brochure price using these companies or was you lucky enough to have it discounted at all?0 -
If i were to take a £6 voucher in and ask to double it up, will they give me £10 voucher and put £1 worth of points back onto my card??
Tesco sent me £7 worth of vouchers, a £4.50 one and a £2.50 one. I handed these to the assistant to double up the £5 element but she refused. She said they only doubled up vouchers that were worth exactly £5. I left in disgust and shopped at Sainsburys.
Of all the things I've lost, I miss my marbles the most.0 -
I used more than £5 worth and they credited it back to my account. i think it says it on their website

Wow, just added nearly everything onto my shopping list and has come in around £160, not sure how many points are there. Will work that out tomorrow when I am a bit more awake.
One question though.....For one bottle of Marques De Monistrol Vint Rose 75cl you get 300pts, but if I was to purchase around 3 bottles would I then get 900pts??
Thanks again for the heads up shelf.life!!
EDIT: works out at approx 3000-3300pts.0
