  • i was wondering this - my husband has the most points but it's me who wants the treatment - do the vouchers say mr john smith, or just smith?
think it might be ok as long as both cards are registered in the same address.

If I convert tesco points to butlins vouchers, does anyone know if when special butlin offers are on, ie half price hols etc, you can still get them with the tesco vouchers?
    Thanks

When you ring to book you must say straight away that you are booking with clubcard vouchers and they can then only be used on full price holidays. They don't even apply a returning customer discount unfortunately.

My OH has different surname but I always use his vouchers. Just in case there was ever a problem 2 years ago he added me to his clubcard account so now when the vouchers come it has Mr ???? and Miss XXXX so I have no problems when cashing them in. All it takes is a phone call to make the account joint.

I was wondering what the ratio is with points/money? As in with boots 1 point is a penny. What is it with Tesco?

    1 point is worth:
    • 1p if used for Tesco shopping
    • 2p if used for Tesco Wine Club
    • 4p if used for other Deals

Thanks, my boyfriend and I had a clubcard but never really worked it out and just used our vouchers in tesco. Now I've moved and signed up for my own card. Looking into these deals.

    Hello all!
I have ended up with 2 clubcard accounts - I had an account and lost the card so picked up a new one when our new resco home opened. Just recieved 2 lots of club card vouchers - one lot from each account. Is it possible to combine these vouchers to use towards deals - I have enough on each account for one lego land entrance - but enough for three if I combine! We are going next week so this would really help! - it's sooo expensive (or i've got too many children!)
  • I have far too many tesco vouchers for what I need and some are going to expire soon, I can spend them at tesco of course but is there any way to 'buy' the offers (days out etc) and flog them on ebay to get more than the face value for them? is this allowed?
If I screw my eyes up tight I can just about see where you're coming from
  • I don't think it's allowed, but people do it. I have bought off ebay before, and got the seller to convert their points into alton towers tickets for me and post the tickets to me. The buyer can't use your vouchers, you have to order the deals for them and send them on - I tried it once and tesco cancelled the order and credited the points back to the seller, so the seller had to wait until their next statement before they could order the deal for me.

Tesco have started putting surnames on vouchers now, and I saw something saying they might also have your postcode. This matters for some things such as holidays, but for days out it doesn't seem to. When you had over a tesco voucher at alton towers or drayton manor they don't ask to see ID or anything like that, it doesn't really matter whose points you used.

You would have to mention in the listing that the buyer should make sure that the deal they want is transferable though.
