From my experience CCCS is a good option, we have had no phone calls other then setting things up.
The only real hassel is with LTSB who only set up agreements for 6 months, so every 6th month we phone them up and reset it.
HSBC managed loan I am paying £80 at the moment and the interest works out at £30 per month. But thats on a 7% above base rate. Its a pain but nothing I can do there.
DOnt be affraid of letters and phone calls, some people will try it on, but hold fast and it will work out. May be write a little statement and keep it close to the telephone, so if you do get any calls, its at hand. Obviously be polite with them.
Token payments are always accepted by most companies, so explain to them whats going on, make a token payment whilst CCCS sort things out.
Good luck with whatever way you try and sort it.
