  • I would like to thank Martin. I have reshaped my finances, and always look to this site before I buy anything. I now find I am 'borrowing' free money and getting paid for the money I have comming in.
I advocate this site to everyone I meet, and think Martin should be knighted.

    LOL

    Like the sites improvements too.

  • I agree about the knighthood! And the rest of it. I also look here first before I buy anything. Martin is a star. Martin, you and Alvin Hall ought to get together for some sort of reality TV finance makeover series competition ....

P.S. If you do, I claim copyright on the idea and I'd love to meet you and Alvin!

I was very nervous first changing our gas and electric suppliers.Martin was a great help and we're saving money because of those. We then followed Martin's advice about rhe cheapest phone suppliers. We really are saving around £10 per month on our landline phone bill.Every time I'm making a call, i feel like thanking Martin because it's lovely keeping more of our money. It is hard first changing suppliers, because of the unknown , but the great knowledge that you are saving money is so worth it.I want to think now about changing /upgrading our Tv/Broadband supplies.Thank you Martin for helping so many ordinary people. eileen

I ave a dodgy H, so sometimes I will sound dead common, on occasion dead stupid and rarely, pig ignorant. Sometimes I may be these things, but I will always blame it on my dodgy H.

Sorry, I'm a bit of a grumble weed today, no offence intended ... well it might be, but I'll be sorry.
  • Only just found this site and it looks good. Will be looking for shopping bargains and getting my gas/electric down.

  • It's ok, but I'm a money saver guru anyway - I save more time not searching this site :p
  • Best site on the web Martin! Saved me loads already, and may it continue to do so! :)
Allow me to echo Hillstep2000's praise re this site.

I was passed the moneysavingexpert.com address by a young business man in Glasgow (Metacog) to help me find a decent, ethical bank after a shambles of service from Lloyds TSB left me without home contents insurance and I think unable to get any.

I've yet to open the thread pertaining to that original plight but I have already gained invaluable advice on other matters.

Just as importantly, I have benefitted much from the surge of endorphins released when participating in the "Discussion Time" chat forum.

    Thank you.
