It'll have to beat 4.15% which I believe is the current market leader.

Clearly they're of the opinion that int rates will fall at some point before Xmas.

Hi, I don't know if you saw my post earlier today but I'm currently looking to remortgage before the end of the month as my deal is about to run out. I was hoping to make a decision this weekend and the best deal I've found so far is with the abbey, a fixed rate at 4.29% for 2 years with a free survey and no legal fees to pay however it has an arrangement fee of £499 but I can get £189 back as commission rebate from mortgage genie.

Beck, do you know when the new deals are released and any idea what the rates are likey to be, it's just that I've left it a bit late already and don't really want to end up paying a higher rate?

meamachine, can you please tell me who the 4.15% rates with? It rings a bell but
    I can't remember why I discounted it.
  • I think the 4.15% is with Portman, and A&L do a 4.19%

    Both are two year fixes.

Thanks meanmachine, I've already seen the A&L one but not Portman's rate. Sounds very good I'll have a look.

Any news Beck? do you know when the new fixed rates will be available? I had a quick look on their website tonight but I can't find anything about new products.

I've had a look at Portman's 4.15% but unfortunately the set up fees are really hi so it's out for me. If it's any use to anybody, I did find a 4.15% fixed with Lambeth which has lower fees than the Portman but for me still not as good as the 4.29% fixed through mortgage genie.

Does anybody else any suggestion on 2 rates that are worth a look?
