Yes, I've used them in a couple of asda stores. No real problems. One of them took all of my vouchers, the other wouldn't take the ones for wine etc unless you actually bought that product.0

hi kan, i tryed to use the vouchers a couple of months back in tesco's cos every one on here seemed to manage it, but they refused them. maybe their policy has changed, or maybe it was just my store. it might be worth trying, i did try to hand them all in at the same time.

Not many Tesco stores take these, although they do scan no problem. Tends to be stores in areas where there's lots of competition between supermarkets that take these.
There's been quite a lot of discussion about these on the Vouchers board.
Also, had a look on ebay and somebody is selling these (and describes them as 'manufacturers' vouchers'). Moreover, somebody is bidding for them! :rolleyes:0 -
Yep my local asda is trying to keep its custom I think as a new tesco has opened five minutes away as well as the other store in town expanding.
Cosequently I have just been in asda and handed over a selection of vouchers:
Tesco
Sainsburys
zing
£5 off a £30 shop at sainsburys found in weekly free paper
They took the lot no questions asked!! Saved about £12
I have loads more vouchers but I only usually try to hand over about 10% of the total shop as I feel if we abuse this they might take it away!!Make £10 a Day Feb .....£75.... March... £65......April...£90.....May £20.....June £35.......July £600 -

i have used them in tescos, and the ones that came with the free calender in January as well, sometimes they get accepted, sometimes they dont.
Why do they scan if they are not acceptable?Pawpurrs x

Personally I tend to hand over a selection of what I have and if they don't take them then I say 'oh dear sorry, didn't realise that was in there!' and that is it. Keep quiet and hope they take them!3 kids(DS1 6 Nov, DS2 8 Feb, DS3 24 Dec) a hubby and two cats - I love to save every penny I can!

Ive become much chattier with the cashiers in asda's as I find they are much more obliging with coupons if you have passed time of day with them and not just treat them like a robot which I know some people do!!
Makes working life more pleasurable for them and puts extra money in my purse
