Hard cash: £1.99 + £1.00
Debit card: £14.00 + £7.81
£1.99 on some red football socks for DS1 to replace the pair given to him by his club, one of which he lost, and they told him he had to replace - GRRR. The little blighter is costing me a fortune this week! I think I'm going to put him out to tender. Does anyone want to buy shares in him? If I were to say - and this is just a hypothetical question - but if I were to offer his services as a miner or a chimney sweep for a fee, would anything happen to me?
£1.00 on lottery (I didn't win)
EDITED: I am quite chuffed as we went to buy him some new trainers but all the shops were too busy. I warned him that I was not prepared to spend more than £15 on him so not to expect any Nike or Reebok or branded ones. Anyway as I said the shops were too busy, but he really needed some as his other ones have big holes in them, and he is using his school shoes for playing out which I am not happy about. Sooooo - I've been and ordered some from LX Direct after I read on MSE that they give £15 off MOV £25 to new customers! I ordered some Total 90 Turf shoes at £25.50 + £3.50 p+p and indeed the customer service advisor knocked me a £15 discount off, so I have paid £14! Well pleased. They were trying to flog me the "buy now pay later" account but I stood my ground and insisted that he take my full switch payment forthwith!

Well most of my direct debits went out today as it's the 1st so most of my bills were paid up today. Apart from that I have bought:
Shopping from Tescos - about £6
my daughter bought 'Tracy Beaker the movie' DVD with her birthday money. That's the biggest waste of money I've ever heard
2008 Comping ChallengeWon so far - £3010 Needed - £230Debt free since Oct 20040 -

We have done the weekly shop at Tesco, spent about £30, no choclate biscuits, no soft drinks, no pizzas, ( no kids to feed ) we bought some nice cheese and pate for supper tonight. I have a big pan of leek & potato soup simmering in the kitchen, used up some leeks we bought last week. It's definitly cheaper catering for 2 adults than 4...or 5 if boyfriends come round at teatime.0
