Supermarket promotion jobs

Does anyone know who to contact to get work handing out promotional items at places like supermarkets, shopping centres etc? I am a teacher and would like to make some extra cash during my summer holidays. I used to do this sort of work as a student and can't remember who to contact to start up again.
Thanks:j

Have you tried StuckforStaff.com? As far as I can recall, they have links with a couple of hundred different promo agencies and list all the jobs currently available. I think you might have to be a member though.

Millward Brown is one company that does this sort of thing. They are a market research company so you will be trained by them. I used to work for them and did a 3 day training session local to me and got paid for those 3 days. You will also get to do Surveys in a town near you, both street interviewing and in peoples homes. I'm sorry I don't know of any others but if you look under Market Research you will find more.
There's no place like home :)

Feeling down? Weak in body? Makes no difference to me, I think of you all when I'm sitting quietly.

Hugs and healing thoughts are always going your way.

It really depends what supermarkets you have local to you as different marketing companies tend to have contracts with different chains, although they do overlap:

    CPM:
    http://www.cpm-int.com/

    Arc:
    www.arc-retail.co.uk

    Gem:
    http://www.gemmerchandising.co.uk/

Most are crying out for reliable, tactical staff.

(There are more but I can't remember the names! If they come to me I'll post 'em here.)
  • Thanks for info. I am going to join stuckforstaff
  • just noticed this is a 3 year old thread that has been revived, but any oone wanting this kind of work with a costco close by, could try searching up power girls on google (they do employ men as well)
