  • Many thanks for the info, we've been looking online to identify birds in the garden. But a bit difficult when out & about!!
Didn't get any security issues so must be fixed.

There is a current 15/09/2010 09.46 security risk on this link, it does not clear user names addresses or passwords. I have alerted the rspb and they will fix it, be aware I now have a lsit of users which would be useful if i was a hacker....
IF THE LAST REQUESTERS NAMES IS VISIBLE BE SURE YOU WANT YOUR NAME VISIBLE

Why are most of your posts all doom and gloom.
Why would anyone other than a Spammer, Hacker or Burgular keep a list of other people's details.
If i was a Mod i would ban you.
  • Thank you I have had quite a few birds in my garden but they have stopped coming :( even though I continue to put food out, I'm hoping there's tips as to why they don't come now and how to get them to come back:)

Spoke to the man at RSPB who was very concerned about the obvious security risk of having people's names emails and their addresses made public. Just what is needed to clone and ruin someones life. Having spent some time in security I am aware of how much damage this can cause. If this is gloomy then try having your life ruined some time
RSPB man has apologised and has fixed the problem. Sorry if others do not see this as important.

Some of us do Oldman, thanks :money:
  • Be aware. When I when through to the confirm details page, the name was wrong. When I went to change the details I got the other persons address and e-mail!!!

I had the same problem when filling in the form so I contacted RSPB and they have now corrected the error so it should all be fine now!
    Nice to save.
  • I managed to order mine with no problems - there's also a book called 'Wildlife on your Doorstep' that's free that I ordered yesterday. :) Could be some good Xmas presents...
