Help with La Redoute returns via Post Office?

I received something by courier from La Redoute on Sunday, but it doesn't fit. I've tried contacting them via email & I've requested a return via my account but haven't heard from them.

When I received the item there's an address label for returning items, and also a green label which says 'please ensure the post office attaches a return service label to your parcel and to this receipt'... does this mean if I hand it in at the PO they'll know what to do with it and pay the postage? I don't want it to go over the 14-day moneyback thing... which might happen as the courier are not getting in touch :o

If anyone's returned stuff via the Post Pffoce can you tell me what to do? Thanks!!

I always just log into my redoute account and go through the returns form - they contact the courier....but I guess you are saying you have tried this?
Is the couriers phone number on your parcel?

To return them at the Post Office you follow normal procedure - put your returns label in the parcel etc, then stick the redoute address label on the front of the parcel and take the invoice with the other sticker stuck onto it and the Postie will stamp it. Not sure if you have to pay to return it through the Post Office though.

    Thanks.

The number of the courier wasn't on the parcel (there was a space where it was meant to be ) so I can't contact them myself. I've put in three requests and none of them have been answered. I have emailed several times and no response. I'd call them but don't see why I should have to..! Grrrr. I'm going to try the Post Office tomorrow and see whether it's free or not.

NEVER AGAIN will I shop with La Redoute.
  • There is no problem in returning via Post Office I do it all the time as can't be bothered waiting for courier collection. Make sure you put the return slip in the parcel (bottom bit of the paperwork which came with items) and stick the label on. Just take along to PO and they will do the rest - no need to pay anything and they give you a receipt. I've never had a problem although am trying to cut down on the ordering unless absolute bargain!!
