Newman DCA - Ian Beim Associates and statutory demand - HELP

HI all
I have been following the guidance on here and sent off the relevant letters to Newman DCA and still only got the application form and not the credit agreement.
Last week a man turned up at the house when i was not in and said he had a letter to give me and wanted to meet me.
Today i have a letter from a company of British Investigators called Ian Beim Associates and it basically says
Someone is going to show up at my house on Monday 16th at 8.30 to serve me a statutory demand and if i am not in the statutory demand will be completed by substituted service such as posting through the letter box. advertisment in the daily press or other manner deemed appropriate. Should a bankruptcy petition be presented the court will be asked to treat such service as service of the demand on you .
The thing is i am as of next month able to pay the original creditor money in instalments to clear the debt
Any advice please

hello , Do not be frightened off by these scare tactics . Write back stating that you requested a true signed copy of the agreement . Pointout what was sent was an application form that you beleive does not comply with the requirement of the CCAct.
,You also need to write back and state the relevant section of the CCA , that says while the account is in dispute , that is no signed copy of a CCA , no action can be taken to recover the alleged debt . There was a thread the other day with details of what a SD is . Trawl over the last couple of days to find it . good luck0 -
Thank you Stapeley
Should thy have sent this when i have sent an SAR to the DCA and the Creditor.0
