Tried to negotiate debt repayments with creditors on your own? Please help the CAB

What's this about?
If you've had debt problems but decided to negotiate repayments with creditors directly, instead of via a debt advisory service, the Citizens Advice Bureau (CAB) would be grateful for your feedback on why you chose to do it yourself.
So whether the feedback you have is good or bad, if you've a few minutes to spare, please help by filling in the short questionnaire. CAB will then use all the information collected to work out how to make improvements to its services.
How to help
To take part in the survey, visit the Citizens Advice Bureau website and click on the tab on the right titled 'dealing with your debts'.
If you have debt problems
Please read the Debt Help guide - there's always a solution to debt and you can get free advice from several debt advisory services (CAB, National Debtline and Consumer Credit Councilling Service).

I completed it, I wonder whos name will crop up again and again for the worse credit card company when dealing with people with debt? I think almost everyone who has an account with them and are experiencing difficulties will know who I mean!"Wisdom doesn't automatically come with old age. Nothing does, except wrinkles. It's true, some wines improve with age. But only if the grapes were good in the first place." — Abigail Van Buren0
