Not sure if this is every Tesco but I have just bought a bargain in the cookware section of the local store (Haslingden).

They have a few more if anyone is in the area, £2.45 for a box with 2 saucepans an omlette pan, oven tray, pizza tray, nylon turner redcued from £9.95. I also noticed some PYREX glass ovenware, lasangne type dish from 82p for a 2litre size and some mugs for 36p each.:j

  • A move away from all the great kitchen bargains everybody has found (none in my store unfortunately).

In my local store (Reading) I found some 'giant flower games' reduced to only 99p (they were originally on sale for about £5). These are like twister with a big plastic mat with coloured flowers on it and a spinner to choose which flower you need to put hands and feet on. Should be lots of fun and great value - bought quite a few for presents.

On the edge of the shelf they said they had been reduced to £1.97 but came through the till at 99p.

    Happy shopping!

  • Tesco (Inverness Retail Park) were selling the Vtech Busy Play Table today for £9.96. Brilliant bargain - it's still £29.99 on toys r us website. Hope this helps for Christmas shopping if you've got little ones.

  • Anybody know what is the deal with Tesco duvets. I was in Tesco in Beckton (sp?) and noticed that one person had 3 trolly loads of duvets and a staff member was buying another 2!! Never one to miss a bargain, I rushed back to the aisle to see what was so special and could not see anything (except for a near empty shelve with another woman buying 3 and someone else picking up 2!!

Shop assistant had no idea why. Anybody know what is going on??

Addy posted this over in the tesco's clearance thread-

Just back from Bar Hill where they had several different types of king-size duvet sets (cover/pillow cases) reduced to £4 from £16. Also "finest" lilac or biscuit (darkish cream) king-size sets for £4.37 reduced from £25. They also had bed sheets and pillowcases heavily reduced.

It looks as if people knew about the offer or had seen a sign or price somewhere else. They are very good prices though so get back down there are see if there are any left!
