Help Needed

Hi all
I need some help! I am 14000 in debt, with sky card (6000), citi bank/first credit (2500), marbles (2500), capital one (1000), and littlewoods(750) plus 2 catalouge accounts, littlewoods and next.
I am not working and I only have my housekeeping for income plus child benefit.
I had an arragement with payplan - but defaulted, and now I am getting all sorts of letters and phone calls - to be honest I feel like I am going crazy, all I do is worry. Got ripped of by a loan brooker and lost 60 quid to them. I need advice.
Thanks

Firstly don't panic, contact your local CAB they will then help you write to your creditors and sort out a payment plan.
Some of mine accepted a pound a month. I currently have about 12000 debt. 95% of this from ex partner but sadly in my name. I'm waiting on CAB now as going to file BR as will take me many years to clear otherwise.
I'm sure others will be here soon to help.BSC No: 186 There is always light at the end of the tunnel. Unless someone's nicked the candle !

I wish i could go BR - I live with my partner and even though its HIS house, apparently they would still take money from the equity, which would be a shock as he has no idea of the debt I am in. I spoke to CAB and they told me to offer 1.oo a month, but that will not keep these creditors away from me and court etc.0

Hi Rad.
Can i ask how many of these debts are with the original creditor and how many are with a DCA?
As for your boyfriend's house, what they are saying is total buffalo manure. Are they saying this on the phone, or have they put it in writing?
You boyfriend is not responsible for your debts. That's the bottom line. They are just trying to get you to panic and pay them off quickly. I suggest you write to them informing them that you will not deal with them over the phone and any further communication should be in writing only. After falling off the gambling wagon (twice): £33,600 (24,000+ 9,600) - Original CC Debt: £7,885.91

Gave you prepared a statement of affairs for the CCCS meeting?

If you go to their website and fill out the debt remedy questionnaire it may give you more info on what possible routes are available.
Also check you are claiming everything you should be.
