What is the jumper made out of?

Sometimes I find bleach removes a really stubborn stain perfectly, other times I've made it worse :o

If it's a small stain I was going to suggest you could very carefully try removing the mark with a bit of thin bleach on a cotton bud (just dab it off) It might be worth doing a test first though, before trying it on your jumper!

..or perhaps someone else has some better (safer!) ideas?:rotfl:

if it really is permanent and refuses to budge - depending on the material could you try disguising it with a transfer motif, or sewing random sequins or beads on it........can you tell I've got kids.....:rotfl:

the jumper is wool but it has like a cotton shirt sewn into it, the stain is in the white cotton shirt bit

Don't laugh - but I've used spots of tippex on things in the past. Might just hide it enough?
  • My little one came home from school yesterday with permanent black market pen across the back of her school shirt. I tried vanish and it didn't work either. May squeeze some lemon juice on it if it doesn't work I guess I will have to throw it away.
