a quick question about isa's

i wonder if anyone can offer advice to me, mself and my wife have about 12,000 in savings. we sold our house in setember and now live in rented, but still looking for houses, invested the captial from the house sale and we wont have the capital or the interested earned on it until september this year. We will then look at getting back on the housing ladder.
At thetime of moving we were tryign to buy a house and it fell through, i took the money from the two isa's in my name to use for the purchase of the new house. Are those isa's now closed, ie cant put anymore in them because i have drawn the money out.

also my wife still has a isa from last year and we havent opened up one for either of us this year so thats what i'm looking to do, ive been reading trough some threads and seen that you can get a fixed isa's there is a 6 month one i have seen.

''
Fixed rate mini cash isa's for 'new money' only (i.e. they don't accept transfers in):
6 month Fix:
Principality BS Fixed Rate ISA (issue 27) - 6.49% gross :starmod:NEW :starmod:
Minimum deposit: £3,600.
Notes: Fixed for 6 months from the date of account opening.

''

six months is about right because we would use the 0k savings for doing the new house up etc.

does this seem a good choice and if someone could advise on the old isa's.

thanks

Yes - once funds are withdrawn from a Cash ISA, they can't be replaced.

The Principality 6 month FRISA looks fine, if it suits your needs - be aware that funds can't be withdrawn, or the account closed, before maturity.
