Asda Sweet Potatoes 1kg, stickers 1.00 scanning at 1.68!!

The man in front of me bought these and realised they should have gone through at a pound instead of one pound sixty eight. He had three packs. Reminded him to go and get his six pounds from Customer Services for the overcharge!! He didn't know about it.

My Asda are always over charging me! And I don't ever get the £2 voucher that they used to give out! Have they stopped doing this or should I still be getting it?

    Thanks!

    Hi,

lol another store trying to fob us off, trying to get away with giving the £2 voucher.
Here a link to the policy, it's at the bottom of the page

    Link
What happens if I am overcharged?
If you have been overcharged in any of our stores we will gladly refund the difference (if you have been overcharged) and give you a £2 Gift card voucher for each product you have been mischarged for.

Actually if you read the policy correctly it states they give you the difference on an overcharge, and a £2 gift voucher card for each mispriced product, not overcharged product!.... so if they charge you less, then that's a misprice, thus they should give you a £2 gift card for an undercharge as well????

I've learnt to keep a printed copy of the policy with me just in case.

Even though one time they tried to refuse it to me, as they said it only applied if you noticed the overcharge when you got home, not when you're still in the store!.........The things they try all for the sake of saving a £2 voucher.:o

I called customer services the other day and they confirmed hte policy was still running.

However, there are 2 different Asda websites - one has details of that policy, and on the other it is not there (even though many of the other polcies are still listed) - so i do wonder if they are planning to get rid of the policy soon.

I now carry a print of the policy with me also.
