Hi
A friend of mine had a barclaycard debt from years ago. A debt collection company purchased the debt from Barclaycard. Does the same rule apply with regards to Consumer Credit Act 1974 and requesting a signed copy of the credit agreement?
The credit agreement should be passed to the debt collection agency shoudn't it?
Thanks for any help

Yes - the template letters state that they shoudl be providing this whether they are the original creditor or not.
Search CCA and tempate here - a few come up.0 -
