Southwest / Devon - Nice place 4 Picnic??

Hi guys,

Im just wondering if anyone knows of any nice places i could take my partner out for a romantic picnic? Doesnt have to be anything fancy!

I live in Plymouth and dont mind travelling to anywhere within an hours drive from here.

Was just after a nice possibly quiet/isolated place rather than a park or something where you have to pay to get in and they have a picnic area there.

Any help would be fab thanks:)

Have you been to dawlish warren? I always find that it can be quiet and romantic to sit on the dunes, hope this helps

How far is Exmoor from you? Simonsbath has a lovely picknick area.

Shaugh prior on Dartmoor is lovely- walk along the river or up the slope and find yourself a quiet spot.
