Credit Report Question

Sorry if this is the wrong forum but I wasn't sure where to put it.

I've been having a run in with A&L over a linked address which is nothing to do with me on my Experian report.

During the process they have made a number of searches on my credit file. These are recorded as "Unrecorded Enquiry" and "Enquiry". Probably a stupid question but do other lenders see these when the do a report or are the entries just for my benefit.

Also how long to searches stay on your report if no credit was taken (I applied for a loan with three different companies to see who would give me the best rate and then raised the money in another way back in October 07 (Thanks Dad)) ??

Unrecorded Enquiries only you will see.

I believe the enquiries are visible for 1 year, but only the last 6 months will really influence your credit score. 3 searches within 3 months is usuall acceptable.
