Hi,
Just spotted this on the BBC website, and thought people here might be interested, basically says about a third of foods contain pesticides, and about 1% are above the legal limit.

I fully agree with you, I'm convinced that the amount of pesticides sprayed by farmers onto our food is responsible for some of todays illnesses, despite setting 'safe' limits.0 -
That's a very reassuring report. It's good to know that overall levels of pesticide are kept so low as to pose no risk.

Slightly off thread but did you know that "healthy" breads in supermarkets are bulked up with fat because then they can be bulked up even more with air and water? Just another comfort given by the advances in technology!oooh look only about 220 posts and I got round to doing my Avatar already!!0
