Black laundry and fluff.

Hi all, hope someone can help me.

I've just done a dark wash and all my black tshirts and jumpers are covered with white fluff, I think it could be from one of the jumpers. They seem deep engrained and don't think a clothes brush is going to help. Any way for me to get my clothes back to black? Also any tips for washing so that it doesn't happen again?
Getting there... A deal at a time. :T

  • Hiya I usually get this problem when I have washed towels before the darks, could you put them through another wash to see if this helps.

sounds as if you have had a paper hankie in a pocket. Just keep washing
it will eventually go away. Always use a colour powder.
make the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.

Wash dark stuff inside out, not only does it help if there is a tissue in the wash, but it helps to maintain the colour as the clothes aren't rubbing against each other. (well they are, but only the insides ;) )

For now, if you have a tumble dryer, then try just a few things in at a time, this usually helps to remove any fluff/tissues.

try putting a micro fibre cloth in the tumble dryer as well they seem to attract the fluff especially tissues
