    Still ~£90 at Basingstoke (or so they said when they scanned the un-priced one I took to the till earlier).

    I saw these in Castleford. Had a couple of dozen all priced up at £68.50. Could be that it's just that one doing them for this price (?).

    Yes Prudent, DVD recorders will play DVDs too, although likely only Region 2 unless there is a "hack" out there to make it region free.

    To find a hack though you would need the model number...

    Thanks. I am after this for my parents so I thnk they will be happy with something that plays only region 2.

    Asda Old Kent Road doesn't have any of these. It does have CyberHome DVD recorders down at £90 down from £100.
