Flux - perhaps you could set up your own business? I am disabled myself and am totally fed up with not being able to get a job (I am blind in one eye and very short sighted in the other), so I am doing a home[learning course and will be setting up on my own (as I am discovering there are plenty of disabled charitable associations who are falling over themselves to provide funding).
As you have an IT interest, I do know that the Shaw Trust (as I mentioned before) actually test other people's webpages to see if they are DDA compliant and will fix them if they are broken, The Shaw Trust are on a recruitment drive at present so it may be useful for you to contact them, even if it is only for some advice.
