Wed June 11th - Daily chat

Morning everyone.

You were all very quiet yesterday - hope all is well wherever you are...

Planning a NSD today (except as ever the daily train fare). Trying to hold on to every extra penny as we're on holiday a week on Saturday.

Spending the fortnight in sunny Cornwall at Mum & Dad's. We were there last summer too but out of 2 weeks we had about a day of sunshine total so hoping it'll be drier this time around...

    Morning Lucifa,
The board was quiet all round yesterday I think people were enjoying the sun shine :)
I would like to go to Cornwall it sounds a lovely place. Might consider next year.

I too am on a NSD today, in all day got both kids home as DS has a stomach bug and was up all night on the toilet. Was going to have the car and go shopping- eeek- but now DS poorly it means I'm home all day, which is good in the long run really!

    Morning Lucifa,

Im so jelous, Cornwall is so lovelly. I cant wait until August when we spend a week down there. (Mum in Laws do come in handy when they live in great places). I hope the weather gets better.

Must be a NSD all round. I popped into work this morning and was just heading for the paper shop to get a paper, however I turned back as I knew just getting one item would never have happened.

Lets enjoy the sun and good weather while we can. (And save money too, which isnt easy when your away)

    Afternoon

Had another meeting to attend this morning, all day training course tomorrow and another meeting on Friday - no wonder I can't get any work done!

It was so muggy last night that I feel that I didn't get much sleep at all! Have brought my walking/jogging clothes in to work so I can go on my way home (as long as it's not gloriously sunshining - raining is better cos not many people out and about to see me exercising;) )

Have brought a salad in but I need something with it so I'll be spending money on pasta salad, but I have budgeted for it so I don't feel too bad about it.

Hope everyone has a great day.
