Anyone a member of home of research? and has anyone been invited to sum royal bank of scotland focus group thats on later today? does anyone know what I should expect when I turn up?

    i did one for online shopping last week, it was mainly to do with comet's website. However, i cant remember where the invite came from i think it was Home of Research and i cant remember what the incentive was. Did anyone else do this? Who was it from? There was only about 10 people in the focus group.

    I signed up with these people ages ago...and have heard nowt since - unsubscribed from them a couple of weeks ago...
    All these years since I left school and I've never once had to use Algebra

    its like a chat room, you have a few moderators who ask you questions and then the other people discuss, suggests ideas etc, in the one last week basically comet got a hammering and it came to we dont care what additonal services you,offer us if your products arent the cheapest we wont be interested!!!:j

    i receive fairly regular surveys from them..claimed about £40 last year,and was invited to a one to one personnel questions survey last year in london,and was paid £150 cash for 1.5 hours...they would have paid my wife too but she was to embarrassed to go.
  • I was at one tonight for rbs ment to be getting £50 for it,wasnt to bad lasted abouts an hour/hour and a half,its the 1st one ive been to but I suppose f I got offord anotha one id do it again.

    £150 cash??? How come i never get thowse invites!!

    singinsweet_1 - are you sure it was £50 and not 50 points. i think i was told £20 but theres no sign of it at the moment, that is of course if it was from Home of Research.

    coincidence..just today i have been offered 2 open forums one for £75 but i have to go to slough for that...and one on the computor for £30 which I have applied for..plus 2 small surveys one for 100 points/one for 50 points ..so I am near claiming another £20

    yes i got offered the online one today for £30, and got offered to attend one in edinburgh for £45 but live nowhere nr there,as to ur comennets about comet i agree!!!!they are poo
    when they do research for rbs i always give good reports as i am a rbs customer and think they are spot on!!!! nearly to my £20 its taken a while not as good as ipsos or vop but its all extra in the end!!!!
  • I have been offered one of these - £150 for 1.5 hours. It says it's an online focus group.. can anyone tell me what it is exactly? Is it online or do I have to travel somewhere? :confused:
