Sorry if this is in the wrong place
My 14yr old DD is interested in modelling. Joined an agency online (stand out) which was free registration. Just got accepted but want £125 to make a5 cards with her pics on to send to their clients.
Should I do this? Don't want to be ripped off.
Any advice on alternative contacts would be welcome
many thanks

I wouldn't. I don't think proper agencies are allowed to ask for money upfront."Beautiful young people are accidents of nature, But beautiful old people are works of art."

Definitely don't do this, it is a scam.

Is just one example.
Sorry, I used to work for a council and our Trading Standards team was always dealing with girls who lost a lot of money.
Do you live near London - all the top models are found on the street or in bars - I know scouts are always hanging around Top Shop on Saturday waiting for the right girl to come past!
Finally, 14 is very young for modelling even if she's a wise head on young shoulders. It's a tough industry and you have to be strong enough for it.Got £820 back from HSBC! Now entering comps like mad with the hope of winning a nice long holiday....0 -
The agency is called stand out

It looks okay and we chose it because there wasn't any registration fee. You just have to pay for the composite cards but I wasn't sure whether this was normal or not0
