I WANNA: Extended Warranty

For a washing machine, can anyone suggest any companies? Normally use www.domgen.com who are asking for £144 just wondering who else I could try...

Buy with Nationwide credit card and get 12 months extended warranty free ...
  • 4 years after the manufacturers 12 month one runs out, Currys wanted £149 but wouldn't reduce it - they don't anymore apparently.
2p off is still 2p off!
  • Works out cheaper, they want £30.25 a year which is £121 for 4 years

If its a new machine check that it doesn't come with an extended parts warranty first. My machine came with an extra 5 years parts warranty (on top of the standard 1 year warranty), so when it broke down all I needed to do was to pay for the manufacturer's bod to come out...they paid for the new part (a complete new drum).

  • Think it just comes with the 1 year one but some Zannussi one's come with 5 years. Found another website: www.warrantyex.co.uk which is oddly underwritten by Dom & Gen but comes out at £129.90
