hi
a close friend of mine is very worried at the moment. she has a court order because she is £600 behind on her mortgage payments and they are threatening repossession.
is it likely that the house will be repossesed?
she is a single mum with 4 children if it helps?
thankyou, any advice is welcome

She needs to go to court and defend herself against repossession. This will mean coming up with a repayment strategy to repay the arrears as well as keeping up with current repayments.
She then needs to tackle why she has fallen behind and how she is going to prevent this happening in the future.I'm a Forum Ambassador on the housing, mortgages & student money saving boards. 2-3 isnt much to start threatening a repo. Im guessing its a sub-prime lender?
She needs to make an arrangement to pay the arrears with the lender really. What are the circumstances leading to the missed payments?0
