Really struggling with my loan

Hi all,

Thought I would ask about this as after doing my SOA I seem to be ok, I'm just really struggling with my loan.

The monthly repayment is £171 which I could afford if it was just that.

I'm just in some 4 months of arears so obviously owe a good amount and I just can't afford to offer them anymore, not yet anyway.

In fact, I can't afford to pay them for the next two months, which will leave the arears at almost £1000 which is a horrible position.

I received a letter stating they're considering selling off some of their loans (I don't even think Liverpool Victoria sell loans anymore).

Does anyone think it would be better for me for this to happen? I'm so angry because I'd be fine if I just had to pay the repayment.

As I've mentioned in other threads I've been stupid with pay day loan advances so whilst I can pay other things, I just can't pay my loan this month or next.

I could offer them small payments, £30 perhaps.

Does anyone have any suggestions as to what I can do or offer them?

In august, I'd be able to pay perhaps, £220.

I don't know. I've gotten into such a mess with this loan!

do you have insurance on the loan? my repayments were similar and i was struggling with them but refinancing the loan and getting rid of the insurance brought cost of loan right down and made it more managable? Hope you get something sorted out.

Have you given them a call and explained your situation? Maybe they can freeze the interest for a couple of months until your arrears are paid off?
    Must be worth a try.
Anything you can flog on ebay to get some extra cash to pay a lump off?
