I'm going have good moan moan moan now! Have u had a similar experience?
These stores/companies put vouchers in the paper for free products but when u visit the stores to redeem them they don't appear to have any in?? or they are alll behind the counter!
Teso's for weeks now i have been trying to redeem my free seven seas glucosamine voucher from the express, and guess what? Never any on the shelves. I rang up customer services to ask why, kind lad got in touch (supposedly) wiv the northwich branch.
Apparently, stocking/delivery problem. Advise = we will extend the offer on the voucher for another week.
Action = i go in this week, guess what?? none in again! went to customer services, cocky cow on the till advises me they never know when coming in. So who is LYING HERE? The lad on the phone who told me he was told by northwich tesco that the goods will be instore in the week or the women on the counter.
Action = none women on the desk wont help, in fact did not seem intrested (cheeers 4 the customer none service love), main office, er well wont admit anything, blah blah blah about the terms and cons, gives me 250 points. Not very good really, i'd rather have the product cheers. Paper cost me 50p
Woolworths same, free book, none in. Oh result here rings them up, sent me one in the post

yes.
Tesco are exploitative and very customer unfriendly. these so called promotions are often just excuses to get more visitors to the store.
sorry we have just sold the last one seems to be the continuing refrain on these offers.
Tesco are coining it and not offering any value in return. A better value supermarket for many items these days is Morrisons.Keep trying.........................what else is there to do?

yes id say thumbs up to morrisons - shopping there now - courtesy of their vouchers in the sun for £5 off shopping bills. at least its something that will happen. unlike tescos and their 75 % off vouchers which seem non existent - apart from ebay!0
-
exactly same experience with Tescon here with some newspaper vouchers0

When you get a coupon in a paper for a free item it is subject to availability as stated ON the coupon! That means a certain allocation of the free item will be sent into each store so when they have gone they have gone! Store staff can't magic the item up for you if there isn't any left! And for goodness sake it is free! A lot of customers dont even want the item, they only want it beacause it is free!0

The same vouchers are redeemable in Tesco along with our very own £5 off vouchers that have appeared in the News Of The World for the past 2 weeks and will be repeated this weekend;)
The 75% off vouchers are never intended to be given out instore - They are usually supplied to selected areas with a local free newspaper, If they are appearing on E-Bay then I suggest you check with your local newspaper delivery boy:rotfl:Stand Up For What You Believe In, Even If It Means Standing Alone0 -

So a newspaper sells on average anything upwards of 250,000 copies a day - Thats alot of people potentially redeeming the same voucher for the same product which of course will cause availability issues!Stand Up For What You Believe In, Even If It Means Standing Alone0 -

Hi, TescoEmployee.
But surely if you publish an ad in a national newspaper you should make sure your shops are capable of meeting the demand.0
