Letter from Barclays

Hi,
Received a letter from Barclays last night saying that they were going to give me a £500 over draft buffer to stop me incurring charges!!!! If you stay in this buffer then you will incur a charge. Is this Barclays admitting that their charges are unfair?
Or is it just another way of getting money out of you?

I dont think its them saying the charges are unfair.
I think most banks try and get you to have CCs and O/Ds as in the long term its money for them, and if they say to their customer they are doing it to help them, then most people think "oh wow, what a lovely bank, lets do it!"
:D Debt: just my mortgage
