Quorn chicken nuggets 20p per pack

Our local Tesco had these on offer today for 20p normally almost £2 pack, looks like there are getting rid of them, I got the last 2 packs. They had another Quorn product some type of steak things for same price. Not sure if this is a local thing or not, dont shop often in Tesco's

These are vegetarian products BTW

Apolgies didnt realise there a post on Grabbit forum with Tesco's bargains, might be best for you guys to check it out for other great offers
  • Why do they call them chicken nuggets if its not chicken? Quorn Nuggets would make more sense?
  • They call them Chicken Style Nuggets, I guess its so you know what they are meant to taste like? I have no idea if they do as I havn't eaten meat in about 15 years but I like them and will be going to have a look for some tomorrow, thanks!

Yes they are nice, I been a vegetarian for 30 odd years and can remember the days when there were very little choice. Had them for my tea :)

I am on slimming world, and quorn is a free food on green. These aren't marked down at my Tescos unfortunatey, (I was there today). But I bought some chicken style fillets on BOGOF, and I have plenty of quorn meatballs in my freezer from a BOGOF at Sainsburys. yum yum

Are the ones from Sainsburys 'Quorn', I know Sainsburys do they're own vegetarian meatballs & are very good but they are a blend of Soya & Wheat Protein?

Just done an online shop and noticed the quorn nuggets, along with gruyere cheese escalopes and sweetcorn fingers are all 20p, I ordered 6 of each, no room in freezer but great vegetarian bargains :D
