Really worried about IVA we have with Debt Free Direct. Nearly completed two years with them, monthly payments will be reviewed in December, really worried they are going to ask for a ridiculous amount again like last years review. Does anyone else have any experience of dealing with this company? Is there any way out of it without re-mortaging by perhaps changing companies. Any info, advice is greaty appriciated as really worried about IVA failing and loosing hosue.

I hope it helps as I dont have an IVA and if i did it wouldnt be with DFD they are charging company and they want more and more each time they have caused such nightmares for some close friends of mine and now are being declared bankrupt for trying so hard. All I can say is that they have a way out and although being made bankrupt they have a mortgage in place to keep there home and a smile on there faces again.
Hope this is of help in some way£2.00 savings club =£2.000 -
I'm in the process of setting up an IVA with payplan and they are very good. I don't know whether it's possible to switch IVA practitioners in the middle of an IVA but it might be worth giving them a call and seeing if they can help.0

yeah just in process of finishing our iva with them after 41/2 years our offer of settlement was excepted on wednesday, don't think they were to happy.they will only try and increase your payments if they can see a nominal amount surplus after deductions.
when you do your i&e make sure you increase your petrol, food, bills, etc as every thing has gone up. they tried it with us last year but we couldn't see how they got there figure as we had nothing left at the end of the month. anyway sent them all information again as things had gone up between them getting my i&e and them actually sending letter out to me, (took them about 4 months).if you disaree with there figures argue it out but make sure you can back up information, also remember if you drive petrol has gone up by about £1 a gallon (25p a litre) since your last i&e.i always added extra on petrol in case we had emergency's with children or relatives.0
