Hi Everyone, I am new on here but have been browsing for a while! Have decided I need to pull my finger out about my overdraft and get it paid off. Its not my only debt but it is the one that I am solely responsible for and I've had enough of it! So, any suggestions and ideas of how I should pay it off are more then welcome!
My overdraft is currently £2220 and so have given myself a year to clear it!
Thanks all and nice to meet you all!

Hello and welcome to the boards
Well, there are soo many ways to save money....
Energy saving bulbs and not using the heating unless you have to
If you have less people in your house than bedrooms you may do well to get a water meter
The old stylers can make meals from fresh air - head over for some meal planning ideas
Insurance, travel, online shopping - register with quidco and get cashback for buying things you were going to get anyway
Ebay stuff that you don't use any more
I had better stop. You may get asked to post your SOA (statement of affairs) this is a great way to cut costs, as people on here will help you to find things that seem like normal expenditure but that you can slash by quite a lot.
There is a tool to help you put it together at https://www.makesenseofcards.com/soacalc
there is also a button at the bottom so that you can format it for posting on here ready for a good going over by people here who have found ways to get stuff cheaper.£34,547 (Dec 07); Current debt: £zilch (Debt free December 2010)
