In relation to the thread 'Great Free Software Hunt I'm proposing a ne thread regarding features or tools that can be installed to further improve the software.
One such add-on I'm suggesting is if you use the web browser Firefox you can add engines to the search bar in the top right of the browser. There are some already there like google and yahoo but you can add more. Follow these steps:
] In Firefox click the add engine link
] Directs you to a list of avaliable search engines
] Click the ones you wish to add, I find the Merriam-Webster, English dictionary search engine very useful!
] Now click the Find lots of other search engines link.
] In the Site Name entry field add this http://www.gahooyoogle.com
] Click the 'Find search plugins' button.
] This should bring back 1 entry found. Click the 'Gahoo!Yoogle' link. After a few moments this should be added to the Firefox search engine bar.
] Try the 'Gahoo!Yoogle' - it combines the power of Google and Yahoo search engines, which splits your screen to allow viewing of both pages of results on one screen.
