15" TFT monitor £97 at Currys

Sorry if this is the wrong board for this, still quite new to the site. Yesterday i bought a new (not ex display) 15" proview TFT monitor for £97 from Currys, which my husband told me was exceptionally cheap (he was expecting it to be £129 at least).

basically I went in to the big Currys in Basildon and they were very busy - I asked a sales girl to look up the cost of the monitor and she said it was £97 on their computer system. Its one of only a few monitors that most Curry's keep in stock.

When I got to the till it scanned as £140 but I said I had been told it was £97 on their pricing system by the sales assistant in the computer section, so they took £43 off. They didn't even ask the other sales assistant or check what I said at all (I wished I'd said it was £77!).

Its not on their website, but it might be useful to someone who is near a Currys store and wants a TFT monitor!

That's the one (I couldn't find it on their website).

Maybe it was a one off misprice then?
