    Hi there

As the master of this site always says:

THERE'S ALWAYS A SOLOUTION TO EVERY DEBT

Have you spoken to CCCS re the increase, there is always provision with any debt management plan for situations like yours.

CCCS have a mortgage dept, have you spoken to them?

Have you considered an IVA, take a look at my signature, it's something worth considering, only a small % of people qualify for an IVA, it's worth looking into to see whether you qualify.

Don't give up that easy, there is sufficent help / advice out there before losing your home happens.

im gonna speak to the CCCS tomorrow.they did put me in touch with 'Charcoal' but they couldnt do anything about a remortgage.

to be honest we both feel we cant be bothered anymore seems no other way out, regarding the house and all we're doing is just prolonging the time when the house is repossessed.

If they think it is best and you can cope with losing the house then it maybe for the best. DOn't forget you can post on the bankruptcy sub board where folk who have gone or are going through banruptcy may be able to help.

Would you be able afford the mortgage if you did not havre to pay the unsecured debt?

Please take some advice from the pros but also have chat in the BK sub-forum (look up now) and ask about your situation. It loks like your Bi would be nil and you coulkd buy it bck from the OR for a small fee.

In particular Pichard S and debt doctor can help you.
If you've have not made a mistake, you've made nothing

Please be patient with me this is only my 2cnd time on here!! read the posts everyday tho!!

basically,i've been married for 6 years and during that time my husband and I have been declared (and discharged) Bankrupt. Life has been very tough which ultimately has ended up with us both deciding to seperate. i work full time and pay a hefty mortgage of £750 p/m plus all the utility bills and grocery, my wages and WTC doesn't stretch very far! I end up with nothing at the end of every month. My husband is self-employed, doesn't earn very much and helps when he can.(which is not very often tbh!) My problem is - there is no equity at all in our property,in fact with the early repayment charge i would need to pay - there's negative equity. What i'm thinking of doing is not pay my mortgage for the next 2-3 months to save for a bond and month in advance rent,so then me and my 2 kids can move to a rented property. hand my keys back to the Building Society (to save costs) and go from there. Has anybody else been in a similar situation?

i hate to say it as i love my job, but i'm really questioning whether it's going to be worth it financially for me to be at work. I guess after being through Bankruptcy, i was hoping i wouldn't have to go through all this again, please can you share your repossession stories with me? i'm so scared!!:
