V.Good value carpet underlay

Hi,

I'm carpetting a new home shortly and have just received a quote from Carpet Right for doing the job, including the underlay, grippers etc. It was way over what I was expecting, so a quick hunt on the internet has come up with this firm:

The prices seem very reasonable, as I think Carpet Right offered their underlay at 3 price levels: 5.99, 6.99 and 7.99. The "Deal of the Day" on the website is Cloud 9 underlay for £50 a roll (15 m2) including delivery & vat. They also offer grippers at prices way below CarpetRight/Allied.

I know I can negotiate the CarpetRight quote down, but I would be keen to hear from anyone who has used this firm (or Carpets Direct GB Ltd) and can offer an opinion on their service.

I have just purchased some underlay from a small independant carpet supplier for £20 for a full roll. B&Q sells full rolls from I think £25. The price the large carpet chains charge is a complete rip off.

Cloud 9 underlay is very good quality .Loads of carpet fitters use it .
