Sommerfield - worth watching out for reductions

Was in Sommerfield today and noticed that nets of oranges were reduced from £1.69 to 42p (don't know if this was a mistake or if they just had too many oranges!), they were also 'buy 2 for £2'.
At the till £1.38 was deducted - so 54p off my shopping and lots of free oranges.

The same thing happens a lot in Sainsbury's too. Tesco's staff seem more clued up and don't let the multiple reduction through as often on reduced items. Always worth a try though if reduction is good.0

Even if they did put them through, the stickers remove the option of multi saves and just scan at the reduction price. Very frustrating as occasionally you get charged MORE than if buying the items full price.....There is no need to run outside
