Yes, they warned me about that but I'm not fussed. I'm in desperate need of a good haircut and don't have much spare cash so at £5 for a Saks one I'm willing to sit in the chair for a couple of hours.

I had a cut, semi permanent all over colour and a file and polish on my nails. all of this came to £53.00 whch i thought was pretty good - although the cut wasn't excellent - but okay...

I had my £5 cut at their Northern training academy in Darlington yesterday and I'm very pleased. Took about 2 hours but it actually flew past, was interesting to listen to the way they taught too. I'll certainly be going back and probably for a colour next time as that only costs £15 extra.

I found out about it via their website, it says:-

My daughter and I have had our haircuts today and we are both very pleased with the results. Cost £49.98 for the two of us.

We were both given 2 x £10 off vouchers for future visits (til Sep) and that was after I had already decided that this was the place I was going to return to.

I have the best haircut I have had in years! Plus they pleased a 15 year old - how easy it that to do? :eek:



(Course wish I lived near an academy to get it all for £5 but I dont. I checked. LOL

i'm going after work today, in 90 minutes actually! she mentioned something about putting me down as having a voucher on the phone but i can't see anything about that online so here's hoping they don't ask

(i wish there was one near me too jellybaby but alas it's the middle of nowhere here )

i went to saks in bury. when i called them to book the appointment saying that there is an offer on the website for 33% off etc. they said they are not participating in that offer and i would need a voucher which i would get from te june's issue of the cosmopolitan magazine. so i got the magazine and the voucher.
booked appointed for 11.30 on tues, got a call at 9.00 am saying the stylist who was to do my cut has called in sick so the most senior stylist will cut my hair but for the same price as the other one. so was happy with that.
then when i went for the appointment they were running 10 minutes late , so i got a free hair treatment as well. plus got another £10 voucher , i also received a £10 voucher from the saks website as well .

the cut with the senor stylist usually costs £45 and i paid £23!!!

had a brilliant cut , they stylist was really good, staff were really nice and friendly , will definitely go there again!!
