    But it is not up and running, (hasn't been for months), you have to supply a lot of details to be informed when it is ready, this is probably how they are going to get the information!

    I beleive they previously got into trouble re the Data Protection Act

    Sorry to be a spoil sport but a number of people are contacting me do a "free" search on 192.com - I have to pay for this subscription like everybody and I was happy to help at the time, but its getting out of hand. Sorry Guys.

    Sarah - 192.com charges by the number of credits you buy. Personally I only ever use them for the 2000 and up census and tel. numbers. I also subscribe to Ancestors.co.uk. They have a special free offer always of the first month free. It really depends on how fresh your information needs to be. 192.com is perfect for all the latest but there are umteen free sights. free.bmd is one of them if you are tracking your ancestores. Buy one of the Geneology magazines and they are chock full of addresses. Good Luck.
