Hi
I want a new laptop (as the title suggests)
I don't have have a landline so my only option for the internet is Virgin Media at £18 a month or mobile broadband (i use above 3MB but below 5MB every month)
Is it worth
1) getting one of the below £100 laptops at the Carphone Warehouse when taking out a mobile broandband contract (which i know would tie me in for 18 months)
which would cost me £95 for the laptop and delivery plus £198 for the extra cost of the broadband
or
2) to buy a cheapish £300 to £400 laptop and stick with Virgin Media in the hope when they upgrade the 4MB to 10MB next year that the 2MB service will go down in price
and if option 2 which is the best budget brand?
