by the way whoever said this was illiegal - I don;t believe so - lots of people have doen this recently - it started in Australia if I remember rightly. A couple couldn't sell their house and hit upon this, and is rightly stated previously this has happened before over here - in Bangor and a couple of other places - it has been in the papers and on the news.

  • Notice from the gentleman's website that he is negotiating the sale of the house to an individual and if sold all monies will be automaticall refunded - at least he has had the interest put into his account if he was going to sell it privately in the first place!

Apologies for resurrecting such an old thread but it's still relevant. Has anyone actually had a refund from this guy, Barry Paul? I'm owed some money and my emails are being ignored. His website http://www.ni-ts.co.uk/ hasn't been updated since September and even then he only changed a small part of it after I questioned him on not updating it. Since then, however, there's been nothing.

A quick google search throws this up about him - http://www.nics.gov.uk/press/eti/051108e-eti.htm. I somehow don't think we'll ever see a penny :(

Congratulations - what was your secret and do you have a new address for him so I can sue him?
  • I am still waiting for my refund - note date is now December 2006 - how much money has this man made from everyone who bought tickets and how much interest has he made over the period he has been holding the money - wonder if the Inland Revenue have been paid their share out of it all????
