I have searched for this but can't find a recipe, hubby loves them and is the only thing he'll eat for breakfast but they cost quite abit over a week in the shop.
Any help would be great.
Any help would be great.
Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough.
And things go wrong no matter what I do.
Now and then it seems that life is just too much.
But you've got the love I need to see me through.

Jambon is French for ham, so some sort of bacon

Hi fletch,
If it's what I'm thinking of it's a sort of cheese and ham puff pastry savoury made by cuisine de france.
I've made them before when I have leftover puff pastry.
Roll out the pastry and cut it into large squares.
Mix chopped ham, grated cheese, mustard powder and a little cream together to make a stiff mixture.
Spread the mixture over the middle of the squares then fold each corner in towards the centre.
Brush with beaten egg or milk and bake in the oven at about 200 degrees until the pastry has risen.
They freeze well, but really need to be 'refreshed' in the oven for a few minutes before eating.
