Hi nirelandguy
have you stopped paying, if not this is the time to. It is now a waiting game, the time to report them is if they continue to try and collect and then it is worth waiting until you have a log over a number of days/weeks. Have you made the complaint official with them and have they confirmeed this saying something like we will reply within 28 days. If the complain is not resolved within 56 days then you can write to the FOS (within banking code and FSA regs)
Good Luck

I told payplan to put my payments on hold to these creditors. They replied with this
Hi
Thank you for your email.
As requested, we have set payments on the creditors you mentioned to held.
Please be advised this is not the kind of procedure we usually suggest to our clients as this can cause creditors to instigate legal action. The best thing would be to continue paying, despite the fact they didn't provide you with the documents you requested within the reasonable time frame.
But ultimately it's your decision so please let us know what you decide.
Many thanksKind regardsSo what do I do?This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -
It's your choice
Payplan have put all but 2 of mine to zero (9 in total) we had a discussion on the implications and they accepted it no problems. I am still paying the same amount to them and they said that if at anypoint I needed to reinstate I could.
The CCA game/card isn't easy it is all about knowing when and when not to do something, that is why it is and has got to be your choice
Although idependant remember payplan are funded by the same people who you want to stop paying.June 2005 = 48K of Debt
