Transferring money to an EU Bank Account

I have just reserved a holiday on a houseboat in Amsterdam. It looks amazing. Anyway my point is the boat owner wants me to transfer half the money directly to her bank account.
The bank is RaboBank in the Netherlands.
I have the account number and name and the IBAN Nr and the BIC code. I bank with NatWest.
How do I go about making the payment?
Any ideas will be gratefully accepted.
Warm regards

International payment at your bank.
Likely cost between £10 and £20.
Do they not take credit cards or Paypal.
If they did it would work out much cheaper.0 -
And then she sails off into the sunset with your money !!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I would be very wary of a transaction like this........unless of course you know the lady.....and even so you will have no comeback whatsoever.
10% would be the amount I would risk not 50%0 -
Yes , bank transfers are wonderful for the person receiving the money, no fees and no hassle. However for the person sending the money it takes a real leap of faith unless you know the receiver very very well.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. If, however, you do decide to make a transfer ask Natwest for a "Relay" Payment. It's their cheapest foreign payment method, around £10 and takes around five days. Be insistent though, some branch staff seem not to know about it
Thanks to all who post comps :A :T0 -
I will be making the transfer - I'll go into Natwest tomorrow. I have researched the holiday and have no reason to be suspicious - far from it in fact. I'll send the money and look forward to a unique experience.

The very lovely Kathrin has just emailed to say pay when I get there as the transfer will take 5 working days and I will be there next Monday.
Thanks once again for your help.

Went to Amsterdam for a holiday in 1966 and stayed there for 30 years. Great country. Amsterdam really swings. Have a great time, whatch the midges on the canals, take a good cream.I am addicted to the raw herring - try some.member # 12 of Skaters Club
